Wired and Wireless TCP/IP Converter All of our wired and wireless TCP/IP solutions communicate to DigitalBins using the DB TCP/IP Converter. This customizable server delivers a true plug-and-play device networking solution that combines a compact form factor with proven connectivity. One device is capable of communicating with over 750,000 bins at network speeds. Please note: If this device is to be installed behind a NAT’d subnet, a network segregated from the DB host computer, you may need to configure port forwarding on your router including IP and Service Port to route to the device. Multiple forwards may be needed if multiple devices are used. Network address translation (NAT) provides a method of modifying network address information in Internet Protocol (IP) datagram packet headers while they are in transit across a traffic routing device for the purpose of remapping one IP address space into another.
